A valid, full driving licence is required, held for the duration stated in the Rental Agreement. 3. Reservations and Payments
- Reservations can be completed via our website, over the phone, or in person at our Harrogate office. A deposit may be necessary to confirm your booking. The remaining balance, along with a security deposit, is generally payable upon vehicle pickup. All prices are quoted in British Pounds (£) and include VAT as applicable. We accept major credit and debit cards, ensuring secure transactions through trusted payment processors.
4. Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off
- At the time of collection, it is important to carefully examine the vehicle and report any pre-existing damage without delay. A vehicle condition report will be generated and signed to document the state of the car. When returning the vehicle, it should be in the same condition as it was when picked up, taking into account normal wear and tear. Any new damage will be evaluated, and charges may be applied accordingly. The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at collection; refueling fees will be charged if the fuel level is lower. 5. Coverage and Responsibility

There may be additional insurance options available to lessen your financial liability. We advise you to review these options thoroughly. You are liable for any damage or loss up to the excess amount, unless you opt for extra insurance. Damage resulting from negligence, misuse, or violation of these Terms remains your responsibility, irrespective of insurance coverage.
6. Modifications and Cancellations
Cancellation and amendment policies differ based on the type of booking and the notice period given. For precise information, please consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Cancellations made close to the rental date or no-shows may incur additional charges.
7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited uses of the rental vehicle:
- The vehicle must not be used for any unlawful activities. Activities such as racing, rallying, or off-roading are strictly prohibited. Transporting hazardous materials is not allowed. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized drivers is forbidden. Driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol is unacceptable. The vehicle should only be used for its intended purpose, and passenger or weight limits must not be exceeded. Operating the vehicle outside of designated geographical areas requires prior authorization.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental termination and extra fees.
Liability Restrictions
